ASTERISK is the creation of Zan Hyan Song, a Korean nonbinary photographer and self-taught designer based in Berlin, Germany. Their handmade jewelry is a reflection of their exploration of identity, fluidity, and the natural shapes of plants and creatures, and how these elements interact. For Zan, crafting jewelry by hand is a meditative and healing process, resulting in organic pieces that reflect their unconscious mind and inner state.
